About

Malise’s Mission

I provide engaging coaching and counselling sessions to individuals seeking a return to joy and resilience.

Utilising the power of NLP (see NLP Definition), cutting edge emotional resilience skills and quantum science, I create results. My services are especially designed for those seeking to return to simplicity, and find direction and self-empowerment at the start of a new or ongoing challenge. These are the skills that are the building blocks for joy and resilience in our changing lives.

My expertise lies in facilitating those seeking a positive change. I provide the necessary tools to bring clarity, vision, goal setting and road mapping to the chaos in life. I assist people to get back to joy and achieve their heart felt desires. Guiding you through personal insight, I empower you with practical tools whilst removing limiting conditioned behaviour and all the negative emotional programs that go with it. My end goal is to help reduce the number of people who are living out their lives unconsciously, by introducing them to their own innate resources.

Today my vision is to be of service to those going through the awakening process and experiencing massive shifts in their reality and belief systems. I wish to help as many people as possible to find their true selves, achieve their heart felt desires, and find inner peace.

I look forward to inspiring you to be your best version.

Malise’s Story

(4 min read)

All my adult life I’ve passionately worked on spreading hope about the power of our minds and how we can change anything we wish. Professionally, I’ve been drawn to leadership and teaching professions and consider myself a life student of the changing human experience. Over the last 20 years I’ve developed a specialised skill-set in identifying and resolving limited thinking and the behaviours that go with it (victim-thinking, hopelessness, guilt, shame, addiction, procrastination, anxiety, loneliness, boredom, grief, anger, frustration etc.).

I like to use powerful NLP (see NLP Definition) techniques to replace old fuzzy thinking with a personalised set of desires, based on your values in the form of goals. A new vision and a new subconscious driving force. Similarly, for those simply seeking someone to help them navigate out of a crisis, I offer my experience, arsenal of tips and tricks, empathy and self-empowerment. No two people are the same and my expertise lies in providing clarity, vision, goal setting and road mapping. I assist in connecting the dots and act as a catalyst for change.

I know first hand what it’s like to wander off the beaten path, learn the hard way and do anything to escape my reality. By the time I was 29 I suffered from a firmly established life-threatening eating disorder, alcoholism, a serious drug addiction and a string of broken relationships. I lived and breathed the saying “once bitten, twice shy” and hid from myself and the world via many devices. I had a long “dark night of the soul” that lasted more than 10 years from my late teens to my early thirties and included accepting the loss of my young brother to skin cancer.

My saving grace was my uninhibited curiosity with the mind and it’s hidden abilities. In my early teens, before it was cool to be a self-help apprentice, I poured myself over books by Anthony Robbins, Dale Carnegie and Alan Watts. What finally brought me out of my unconscious state was discovering Neuro Linguistic Programming and I quickly becoming qualified in what would become my way out of addiction, escapism, grief, self-loathing, lack of direction and low self-esteem. Today I am free of all addictions, have a very healthy marriage, enjoy healthy self-expression, am physically at my best and passionate about my career.

Using my personal journey of transformation, my ability to connect with others and my formal education, I have developed a guidance method that involves dissection of limiting personal beliefs within the folds of relationships, emotional and physical health, career and mission, fun and play, spirituality and most importantly, self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-worth.

Together we find your true values by reading between the lines and aligning you with your unique gifts and talents, or simply giving you the self-empowering tools to lead a happy resourceful life no matter what’s happening in the external world. I’ve seen many happy people walk away with new clarity and renewed enthusiasm after learning how to overcome their conditioned behaviours and unconscious programming. I have designed my approach to provide a fresh point of view, clarify focus, pinpoint the real roadblocks and then clear the path for direct access to your resilient and joyful self.

Previous to running my own business as a coach, counsellor, and professional speaker and facilitator, I was the Vice President of Personal Relations for the original Brisbane Toastmasters club where I learned I was passionate about presenting motivational speeches, using area contests as a speaking platform to share my passion for self-evolution, enjoying the positive results. I have since had multiple opportunities to speak and motivate and encourage staff at corporate offices, community organisations, secondary schools, and various industry conferences.

I’ve spent time living abroad and travelling the world, and was inspired to return to Australia and became a qualified secondary school teacher. However, having graduated, I wasn’t quite satisfied with the rote learning style of the syllabus so I joined the corporate world for several years. This is when I discovered Neuro Linguistic Programming and quickly became qualified in what I consider, a life-changing skill. On the side I would tutor university students and share my knowledge and goal setting skills. Mentored by one of the top NLP Guru’s in the world (Robb Whitewood), I was honoured when I was invited to edit his first practical NLP book.

Currently, while I am not busy creating vlogs, blogs, motivational material, and running coaching and counselling sessions, I’m a trainer and assessor, leading and facilitating courses that instil powerful life skills inclusive of emotional intelligence, NLP and the tools to personal motivation and goal setting. I’m also a speaking ambassador for the organisation Beyond Blue where I passionately spread awareness and help for those suffering from anxiety and depression.

Please reach out today if you need someone to share your journey with who has also been there, experienced the challenges and come out the other side with a new joy and resilience. Allow me to help you find your silver lining.
